At this morning’s “Coffee and Culture” we had a look at the local newspapers. We started off with the Grindsted Ugeavisen, which led with a front page story on a women opening a hairdressing salon in her own home and a man on call to clean out sewers. Yes, it really was that exciting.
So we moved on to the Billund Ugeavisen which had both an advertisement and an article on an Easter activity for children run by Billund Handelsforening. Lots of the shops in Billund are taking part in this activity (see photo below for the list)
The idea is to collect lego pieces from each shop to make a lego Easter egg. There are prizes to be won for the best model egg (including Lego and Chocolate Easter eggs).
We also found, tucked away in the small ads, what, for some of you, will probably be the most exciting event of the year. A customer evening is being held at Super Brugsen on the 17th of April from 17.30-20.00.
This event will allow customers to have a chance to influence the type and kinds of food that they stock. So now is your opportunity to put in requests for those exotic items that you have to travel to Vejle for (such as Weetabix and Old El Paso tortillas in our house).
Places are limited to one per household and you must let them know by email to firstname.lastname@example.org before 10th April. Please include your name, address and mobile telephone number in the mail and put “kundeaften” in the message subject line.
